Fortuna Energy ignites its United Way Community Campaign
Big Flats, NY, Ocober 15, 2008 – United Way of the Southern Tier recently received significant corporate support toward their 2008 Community Campaign.
Jim O’Driscoll, president of Fortuna Energy, presented a $10,000 check to Steve Hughes, vice president of Resource Development for United Way. The donation will go toward United Way’s efforts to improve the lives of people in Chemung and Steuben County.
United Way of the Southern Tier's annual community campaign officially kicked off in September. The money raised during the campaign is invested in local programs that work to address the underlying causes of problems within the community and create long-lasting change.
