United Way of the Southern Tier is pleased to announce that Horseheads Jubilee Foods shoppers can give at the checkout in support of our community.

Shoppers who donate $1 at the cash register will be supporting 70 programs for children, senior citizens, and people facing crisis or natural disaster in Chemung and Steuben counties.

“Your generous donations make a meaningful impact in our community. Whether it's providing healthy snacks for an after-school program or arranging transportation for a senior citizen to get to their medical appointments, every dollar makes a real difference in the lives of our neighbors in need,” said Maleaha Smith, president of United Way of the Southern Tier.

Donors can sign their name to a special “United is the Way” card that will be displayed at the store, 2998 Westinghouse Road in Horseheads.

The Horseheads Jubilee Foods-United Way fundraiser will end on April 19.
