Give.
Donating to United Way is an effective way to advance the common good. When you give, you help United Way achieve measurable results and improve lives in our community.
You can donate online or download a pledge card.
Advocate. Staying informed and speaking out about issues important to you is a powerful away to advance the common good. When you advocate, you can influence government policy and public opinion on issues that advance United Way's mission to improve lives.
Volunteer. Sharing your talents with United Way or another non-profit is a rewarding way to advance the common good. When you volunteer, you allow organizations to use their resources more effectively to help the most people.

Upcoming Events
Golf Tournament Rescheduled
The Corning Incorporated-United Way Golf Tournament has been postponed due to the weather.
The rescheduled event will be held July 30 at the Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon.
Jump Up! 2010 Campaign Kickoff
Tickets are now available for the Jump Up! campaign kickoff on August 27! This family-friendly event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Nasser Civic Center ice rink in Corning, and will feature music by Nik and the Nice Guys, children's entertainment and delicious food. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, free for children 12 and under, and are now available at the United Way office and will be available soon at select retailers. For more information, call 936-3753.
Volunteer Fair
Chemung County agencies and organizations in need of volunteers are invited to a Volunteer Fair from 9 a.m. to noon October 16 at the New Beginnings United Methodist Church Hall, 300 East Miller Street in Elmira. For more information, click here.
